Did you know World Obesity Day was launched in 2015 to stimulate and support practical solutions, to help people achieve and maintain a healthy weight, and to reverse the obesity crisis? This year on October 11, 2016 the focus is childhood obesity. “Obese children may experience immediate health consequences which can lead to weight-related health problems in adulthood. Obese children and teens have been found to have risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD), including high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, and abnormal glucose tolerance. Studies have shown that obese children and teens are more likely to become obese as adults.”
MY4EVERWEIGHTLOSS will be involved in raising awareness and would like your help. If you are interested in helping with our efforts and be a part of our October 11, 2016 initiative, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
